Playing Catch up...

So Addie is now 11 months old- and as usual we can't believe how time flies! Her newest tricks include putting the rings back on one of those ring "toss" toys (her new favorite) and trying to put her shoes on any available feet. She's figured out that shoes and socks go on feet but not how exactly to get them there! It's amazing to watch her start to really figure things out. When she first started putting the rings on the post- I called Daniel all out of breath and so proud! Hahaha I know I know- first time parents......Addie also loves to play hide and seek. I'll walk to another room and then call her and she'll come find me! It's so fun! Oh and she LOVES books- she'll open them and act like she's reading them- all gibberish, but so serious. I'm sure she knows what she's saying. She started clapping last month and of course waving. And she can follow simple commands like "Addie come here" or "Pick that up." She also likes to give hugs- especially to animals as you'll see below. She'll be turning 1 year old in less than a month and I am tearing up thinking about it. This time last year I was about to go on bed rest- Man am I glad to be up and about and semi-skinny! hahaha! The pictures below show what we've been up to the past couple of months. Um....so.....this is where we put her when she's been naughty. JUST KIDDING! She loves to get in the pantry and play with the potatoes that I have in this colander. And here is where she thought it would be fun to sit in the colander. Too cute.

We went to a little spring carnival at Mamaw & Papaw's church. Chloe and Addie loved checking out the rabbits and the chickens.
And Addie really liked getting her face painted!! She sat still the whole time-I think she thought it felt cool.
Now it's mommy's turn...

So I think we're all caught up now!! Coming up we'll have my first mother's day, Addie's 1 year birthday party, and a trip to Dallas to see Uncle Reed graduate- YIPEEE!!! We can't wait!
