Well our little baby is now a little girl…haha…one year old! I can’t believe it went so quickly. She is constantly amazing us as she continues to learn things about the world around her. She loves to read books, play ball, and dance. She has a lovey named Junior who goes everywhere with us--mommy finally wizened up and got a back up Junior…just in case ;). Another favorite activity is emptying bags or boxes and then filling them again. She even helps clean up her toys- especially after bath time. She loves to organize the pantry. She'll take bottles of marinade & Salad dressing and put them in the kitchen chairs- I'm sure there's some sort of system...I just haven't figured it out yet. She loves to get in the pool and splash around and she LOVES swinging!!
For her birthday we had a mini swim party with kiddie pools and a sprinkler. I think the kids had a blast! We had fun watching them splash around for sure- and it was 90 degrees outside so there were quite a few parents with their feet in the pools as well!
We went to the doctor for her one year check up on her birthday and she weighs 19 lbs 1 oz and is 30 ¾” tall! Then she got 3 shots and blood taken….not a great way to start a birthday. But after the appt. I took her to the mall and we got a smoothie and rode the carousel so all was forgiven!

Her first ride on the carousel (her treat after the dr. appt. that morning. Poor thing!) She loved riding- she bobbed her head and looked all around. Definitely worth the $2!!
