On Oct 3rd we headed to the Dixie Classic Fair- now it really feels like fall! Ah can't you just smell the turkey legs and kettle corn.....
Addie and I went with Mamaw and Papaw during the day- Daddy would come when he got off work. Our first stop, of course, was the animals!
Addie was not so sure about these four legged creatures...
especially the tall humped variety.
Taking a walk with Papaw through Yesterday village. 
Addie's such a big girl- we walked over to see what the blacksmiths were doing- and she walked right up the ramp and peeked over...
We also stopped by to see Heather and get Addie's face painted. She sat there the whole time Heather did it- never really moved and didn't even touch it after she was done!
Soooo pretty!
So Papaw wanted Addie to "win" a prize. We found this game where she could pick up a duck or fish and depending on what was on the bottom, win a big prize or a little prize...so of course Papaw wants her to have as many chances as possible to win a big prize and Daniel and I are thinking a little prize would be just fine- so we talked Papaw into only paying for one chance....
and what does our little girl get....of course the biggest prize they offer....a GIANT hot pink fish. Lucky duck............
