Oh the whirlwind! Days filled with rodeos, visits from friends, and vacations! Our Addie is now 16 months old. She loves to say Mommy, Dada, Addie, no no, des (translated yes), Bye bye, ball, Papaw, ough (translated hot)and Uh Oh (says this ALOT). She also knows that she has to say please to get something....we say "Addie, ask nicely- say please" and she says, with a tilted head and sweet smile, "Naa Naa"...which we think is "nice, nice." what's funny is when she is bawling over something and we tell her to ask nicely, she flips the switch and says it just as sweet as you please......oh the drama queen in her....
Animal sounds she's added- Baa Baa, MMMMMM (translated Moooo for the cow...), Mow Mow (Meow for the cat). And her newest word, said with a true southern dipthong "Baybee." She loves to dance- swaying, rocking, throwing her hands in the air- this is partly due to a class we're taking called Kindermusik. It's on Mondays and it's a mommy and me class where we dance, play musical instruments and generally goof off.
She is now running....which is so funny to watch. And she sits at her table on her own little chair for snack (although we do much reminding to stay at the table while we eat....).
We just got a van (am I totally uncool now?) and Addie LOVES to hang out in it (not so much in the car seat...).
Favorite things- still a passy girl and loves "Junior." Loves to color. Loves to eat....favorites- pasta, green peas, goldfish crackers (affectionately named "fishies"), yogurt, bananas (or "mananananaanaaas"....)- but truthfully she'll eat pretty much anything we give her, provided we are eating it too :).
Favorite toys- the laundry basket...no seriously, her baby doll, lil people barn.
Addie's first rodeo- mommy's favorite- Level Cross Rodeo!!
