where does time go?

So i don't have time to uplaod any new pics- although I'll try to soon...Here's our catch up!

September was so fun- we went to the beach with Daniel's family and of course had a blast. Pictures and more on that to come. Then October...let's see... Aunt Piglet got married and Addie was the flower girl. She did great! She sang a little loud while the pastor was praying ("Oh wishy washy wishy washy wishy washy WEE!") and kept asking for more smarties (I had them tucked up in my bouquet) but she really did great and we all had a blast celebrating with Piglet and Brad. We also had a visit from Lolli and Aunt Hanna (SURPRISE!! So fun!) over Halloween weekend. Addie was Snow White and Maddox was a caterpillar some...the costume was super hot so he didn't wear it a whole bunch but it was really cute. And while Lolli & Aunt Hanna were here, Maddox was dedicated at church. It was so special to have them here- and Addie enjoyed every minute.

My favorite word that Addie says currently is "slickerly" which means slippery. I think its a combination of slippery & slick. I love it. If you ask her what her favorite color is she'll say orange but she loves pink and purple like any 2 year old girl. She also LOVES princesses...not that we've watched any of the movies but she loves to pretend she's sleeping booty (what you get when you ride in a car too long...) and that I'm belle or snow white or whatever. We had a really hard time convincing her that daddy could not be a princess because he was a boy...she kept wanting to pretend he was princess jasmine. The paci fairy came to visit three weeks ago because we lost all her pacifiers and mommy wasn't about to buy more. So after much crying she finally went to sleep and woke up to princess sippy cups, candy land and fairy dust...she wasn't impressed...she still wanted her pacis but we've worked through that now. Addie loves to watch Blues Clues and Dora. She loves to "read" books. Her favorites are "Wild About Books" and "The Little Engine that Could." She still takes a nap in the afternoon (oh thank you thank you thank you) although that sometimes is a challenge. She also loves to sing- favorite songs: Jesus Loves Me & ABC's. But she also likes to make up songs with nonsensical words to those favorite tunes. She loves her brother and wants to kiss him ALL the time. He cringes when she gets close....go figure....The other day we were sitting in the car and she said "Sometimes we like to snuggle our daddies. Yep sometimes we do." She is a daddy's girl for sure. When she gets up from her nap she wants to know "when my daddy is coming home?"

Now for Maddox. He is a whoping 14 lbs 8 oz...and 24" long. Which puts him in the 97% for weight and 90% for height. He is such a smiley boy. He coos and laughs when he is awake. He hates a dirty diaper (very opposite from Addie), sleeps through the night and loves to lay on his back and play. Currently, he can roll onto his side and is really trying hard for a full roll over. He's a snuggle bunny (YAY!) and snores sometimes which is very endearing....especially since he sleeps in his own crib. He eats ALOT.
