Be still my heart... 
Oh fun- our calendar board...I spent many an hour putting this together- tweeking what I found on one of my favorite web sites- 1plus1plus1equals1.com. We love "playing" school- its truly a joy to put things together and then explore them with Addie. New this month- she can spell her name!! And she is also drawing faces...I took a picture but it hasn't made the journey from the camera to computer so that will be the next post...which I promise won't be in another 3 months...promise...

We went to a skating birthday party and Addie LOVED it!! She would have skated all night and has requested skates for her birthday...Addie when is your birthday "Um nest June."

Look closely to the upper left of this picture. What do you see? That's right- an "A". Addie said "Mommy I drew an A" and like any good mommy washing dishes I nodded with out looking and said "uh huh." and then she brought it to me. I was slightly amazed at my precious 2 1/2 year old and so a picture was taken, i seriously considered framing it. but then got dishwater on it. oh well!

Loving life at Mamaw & Papaws!
First ride on a four wheeler...
Planting with Papaw. Addie loves to be in the garden at Papaws and at home. We water plants daily and love to watch them grow. She also loves to pick the veggies when they are ready....and sometimes when they're not ;)
Watering...Addieisms from the past few months....
Addie:"Mommy I want a computer. Riley has one and Brilyn has one but I don't have one. I want one for my birthday."
Mommy:"What color do you want?"
Addie:"Orange"
Mommy: "What if they don't make orange?"
Addie: (sigh)"Mommy, they make all colors"
From the backseat out of the blue: "And God said 'Let there be vitnems (translated vitamins)...and there were vitnems so people could be healthy and feel good. And that's why God created vitnems..."
"Mommy, I'm not ready to potty train yet."
"Hmmm...sometimes I say to myself I'm ready to get out of my bed. So I get up."
Talking about an incident at Sunday School where a little boy took something she was playing with: "And he didn't give it back...but I'm big enough for chewin gum...so..."
Talking about her Junior and baby doll: "I'm gonna leave this in the car so anybody not take it."
Daddy: "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
Addie: "A Mommy....and a doctor"
"Mommy, print me out a chore chart because I do a lot of stuff"
She also has conquered the chick fil a play place- ALL BY HER SELF!! GO ADDIE!
Master Maddox
Maddox loves to play with his feet although he's a little too chunky to get them to his mouth. He can sit up. He can also get up on all fours and rock, although he prefers to crawl like a little army man- he is quite fast and he always wants what his big sister has...so that's a little rough. If she comes anywhere near him he reaches out for a fist full of her, which irritates her. Favorite food: Banana Apple Yogurt, and (seperately) butternut squash. He's about to cut 4 teeth- top two front and his pointy bottom ones...crazy huh?? He is also saying "dada" although he's not connecting the word to exactly who that is- but he does love his daddy and at the sight of him, Maddox flaps his arm and reaches out!! Hopefully i can post some video of Addie making him laugh- oh bummer- hes awake!!! Well I got a good post in this nap time!! Hopefully i can keep it up!! Subscribe to get updates!!
