Aren't you proud??

Two posts within one week of each other? Unheard of, I know :) What can I say, I'm getting it together....sloooowly....but it is happening...

Well this one should be down with the Easter post but I forgot about it till now and blogger uploads to the beginning of the post...anyway...here's the bunny as Addie calls him. This was all her idea. She talked about it for two weeks and I didn't think she would really do it. Anyway, we had some free time last Friday and so on the spur of the moment we hopped (pardon the bad joke) over to the mall (please lord let the line be short) and waited for a few minutes and then we got to sit on the bunny's lap. Addie was so stinking excited. This is the same kid who screamed (literally) when we got withion 5 feet of him last year. Go figure.

A surprise day trip to Charlotte for our anniversary (6 years!!)- complete with a picnic lunch from Dean and Delucas and lounging under the shade at Freedom Park!

Daniel also found a place where we could design and make our own jewelry- we made one to replace my favorite black necklace, previously demolished by kids.

It's hard work, this jewelry making stuff.

Papaw and Maddox hanging out.

Maddox was extremely proud of himself, having made it from the living room to under the kitchen table while we were having dinner. Not sure what all he found under there...probably some cheerios that were safely cemented to the linoleom.

Oh so sad. Can't remember why...but I have a feeling it was b/c daddy told her no to something she felt was vital to her well being.

Addie and her new umbrella (thanks Mamaw!!) Notice the complete lack of rain.

Peas. Everywhere.

Dress up!

Kacee & I doing our theatre thing. We were emcees at a junior/senior. And yes we were awesome ;)

Let them eat cake. I'll eat the ribeye.

Sweet baby boy...his er 6 months photos taken at 7 1/2 months. Oh well...

Can you even stand it?

Sweet boy.

Easter!

Addie spying her Easter basket!

Checking out the goods.

Maddox was pretty pleased too!

Yay for Easter! Running late to church but snapped a quick picture!

And my favorite.

The boys!

The girls!
So sorry if you've heard this one but I have to share:
Daniel (kidding): Sorry Addie Daddy is getting old.
Addie (not kidding): That's okay daddy. We won't get rid of you.
