June & July

So the past couple of months have been packed full of fun. Addie will be 14 months on Sunday. Just last month she wasn't saying any words and hadn't cut any teeth but she was pointing at things she wanted. Now she's saying "hey" (first word- said while throwing her hand in the air and grinning), "yay" (second word- said while clapping and being pleased with herself), "ball" (third word- said EVERYTIME we go into the garage as she points at the myriad of balls down there) and "bye-bye" (fourth word- said while...well you know..waving bye bye) and finally "uh-oh"- I think that's my favorite...b/c she'll say it like there's an echo- "uh uh uh oh oh oh."
She loves to play outside- it's her favorite thing to do. She also loves sitting in pint sized chairs- and pretending to be a big girl. Bananas were her favorite food in June but now blueberries take the stage.
And we have big news (Oh good grief, no, I am not pregnant...), We FINALLY have a tooth! It's just a half a tooth right now- the bottom right. But the bottom left, and two top teeth aren't far behind...which you can tell from the normally happy baby turned miserable monster of late. She loves brushing her teeth- were going to get it on video- it's hilarious. She sits down on her stool and laughs and talks the whole time. She'd do it every time we went into the bathroom if I let her! Check out the pictures from our travels and escapades below:

Heading to Dallas, on the way to the airport Gigi and Aunt Doe Doe were entertaining Addie.
Reading the oh-s0-important saftey instructions.
Excuse me?
Pool time in Texas with Lolli, Daddy & Aunt Moe.
The two loves of my life.
The siblings after some super cosmic bowling. I did not win. But come to think of it, I'm not sure who did.

Aunt Moe & Addie after our treck through downtown Austin. We had just come through the midly harrowing experience of walking past a highly populated bus stop.
Pops, Addie, and Aunt Moe, after a fabulous sandwich at a hole in the wall...very hippy, very Appy but definitely in Austin across from Reeds college of choice- St. Edwards University (Go Hilltoppers! YEA!).
At the Hula Hut. This picture almost didn't happen...Pops about took out the parking attendant who was rushing two girls and a baby, who were trying to get out of a large SUV. Note to parking attendant: The girls are small, the daddy is BIG.
Snuggles before bed and a 7 am flight the next morning.
The Zayne train and Addie cheesing at Uncle Ben & Aunt Erins.
Meanwhile, Uncle Ben and Aunt Erin get married- WAHOO!

The Fourth of July- a feverish Addie had to stay home all day and not participate in the festivities- but for a brief moment- was enjoying the changing of the sheets.
Watching the people at the tractor pull in Denton the next day.
Since Addie was sick on the fourth of July, we stayed to watch the fireworks in Denton. We sat in the back of Uncle Stephens truck. When the fireworks started I was a little worried about how Addie would react. But she came over and sat in my lap and seemed to enjoy them. She clapped her hands and pointed the whole time. She looks a little worried in the picture above but she didn't seemed bothered at the time.
Playtime with Daddy- check out the road rash....an unfortunate side effect of tumbling down the driveway.
Kisses from Mommy at Gigi & Poppi's.

Monkeying around in a little playhouse tent. She thought this was great. It's a good way to pass the day when it's raining...if it ever will again....

Driving the lawn mower is serious business.
About to take a spin.
Hanging out with the Uncles, Tia, and Daddy at Mamaw & Papaw's.

Aww, it's so great to see you guys in pictures. We miss you guys. We still haven't found a church yet. To be honest, we haven't been looking very hard. We just keep visiting my mom's church. Would be nice to have some younger friends like you guys though.
Take Care!
