Today is the Day!

Well today is the day that Peanut will finally join our family...and as you can see by the time...it's 5:20am- I haven't really slept. I mean this is better than Christmas- what do you expect? I think I might have dozed off a little but really I have been WIDE awake since about 3:30-4am. Good grief...and I am hungry. I had to stop any food or drink last night at midnight- and let me just tell you, for a pregnant girl who eats every meal like it's her last- this is not easy!! I just can't believe our family is going to expand today. I kept telling Addie last night that she would get to meet Peanut today and I got "Oh" as a response. So much for enthusiasm! My mom and dad came in on Wed. (dad from TX, mom from Charlotte) and Addie has had a lot of fun hanging out with them. She warmed right up to Pops- even let her carry her around yesterday as we took a tour of Daniel's work. Too fun. The basement is almost done. It's done enough for Dad to be pretty comfy down there- even though his bed side table is an upside down laundry basket and there's an old comforter down under his air mattress instead of a rug. But it's air conditioned and has a ceiling and a floor which from what I've heard is better than what he sleeps in at the deer lease......So it's 5:25am....that's about 3 hours and 45 min. till we meet Peanut. How is it that I am the only one not able to sleep??
